hey hey! work the 1st few days had been pretty interesting, maybe because its a brand new experience. i even gotta serve qi yiwu, yes! that hot mediacorp artiste haha. the girls told me quite a few actor/actresses visit sushi tei at paragon! so hopefully i'll get to see more of them! *winks
pratically, i make green tea, pour tea, refill tea, serve food, scoop ice cream and serve desserts, oh and clear & wipe tables! i havnt got to learn billing and taking orders. i'm gonna be so dead when they teach me how to take orders, i gotta learn the whole menu!! goodness all the japanese name, the SO MANY different types of sushi. great. im already so bad at human names, how am i supposed to remember sushi names? but yea, i'll still try my best.
the people there overall are alright luh but the full time girls there are not that friendly, sigh. luckily i get along better with the other poly part time people, they helped me alot :)) quite of few of them are malaysians and speak cantonese which i dont understand a word! the chefs on the other hand are a humorous bunch, hokkien gang! though they're pervertic and sorta ah beng, they treat me well so who cares. haha
work's quite relaxed actually coz i'm just a part timer, they schedule me to work mostly half days, only 3 full days this week! which i'm so greatful, coz afterall it's hols luh! time to relax and do whatever i want yea. i don wanna come home exhausted everyday, plus i work just to past time and gain experience, only minorly for the money. except for ipod nano, guess i'll be able to get it by end of next week :) woohoo!
