In my colourful world.

heya! sorry for not posting the last few days. internet conncection was pretty down, and we were mostly busy cooking at night for this week. healthier, tastier and cheaper food! :)) steam chicken breast with corn, potatoes and carrots, we had fish as well and it was awesome!! ytd we made our own burger- chicken chunks with mashed egg mayo and cheese. yummy! oh yea chicken breast is the most expensice part here luhh! wings and thighs are way cheaper. we love breast! boneless and tender :D

went to Burleigh heads once again on sunday! we really utilize our weekends well!! a beach a week keeps the doctor away! relaxing, tanning in the sun gives healthier looking skin. and the sound of the waves, love it. i am so gonna miss the beaches here :( BUT tmr is none other than BEACH DAY :) our last chance to head down to the beach before we get our ass back in Singapore. going up to Caloundra tmr, Reece said there are 3 beaches there! woohooo! i'm excited once again :))

today would be our last day at work, we are gonna have lunch with Michael and Jeanette this afternoon. Fish&chips! the portion is HUGEE, i can never ever finish the friess, in aussie they are generous with portions so they SPAM FRIES! lol city shopping tonight, seriously la, life is great here!

i've talked to Jeanette about further studies in UQ, she said conditional offers usually have no problems. a GPA of 2.5-2.9 would be enough but 3.0 would be a SURE CAN. applications in October and they will assess my results to see how many years of credits i will get according to which course i wanna take, but easily 2 years off lah! haha. Bachelor of science and Bachelor of biotechnology are the 2 degrees i'm interested in. it pretty much depends on the major which i have no idea what i want yet, for science maybe major in Biomedicine and for biotech major in microbio or drug design? ahh, i dont know, lets see how it goes first. for science, honours is optional while honours is included for biotech. and the advantage of bachelor of biotech is that the honours includes product development proposal and research work. more of how to create the product and sell or market it. so there is direct entry to Masters of Business and there would also be credits for it :) but different people have different saying, going into a deeper and more specialized scope and being really good at just one thing can bring you a really good job and damn high pay. whereas getting like a dual degree would give you a wider job prospect, finding a job is no problem but definitely that person will know less than a person with a more specialized qualification. its like you know half of each, so?? whats the point. haha, theres always pros and cons la, just have to weigh them out.

cheers! are u guys sick of my beach photos already? :P too bad, i'll put up more. blehs hahaha
